Roka Bioscience was established in 2009 through a spin-off of Gen-Probe’s industrial testing assets and technology into an independent company. Gen-Probe is a global leader in nucleic acid tests (NATs) used primarily to diagnose human diseases and screen donated human blood. Roka’s molecular assays will be based on proven technologies and instrument platforms with exclusive licensing rights from Gen-Probe.
